If arriving early to Lima, take a scenic walk through the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco for views of Lima’s gorgeous coastline, or dine at one of the many gourmet restaurants within walking distance of your hotel.
Start your morning with a gourmet breakfast at your luxury hotel, before visiting the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Start your afternoon with a walking tour around the artsy Barranco district. Learn about its history as you gaze at colonial mansions, taste Peruvian flavors, and immerse yourself in its sounds and smells.
Finally, enjoy an epic 11-course tasting menu at Central, one of the top 10 restaurants in the world.
This morning you’ll transfer aboard a comfortable first-class bus to the town of Pisco. Watch the coastal landscapes roll by before arriving at the Pisco airport. Store your luggage here, then board a small aircraft for a thrilling flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines.
Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to your Paracas hotel to spend the rest of the day at your leisure. We recommend you relax by the pool and take in the stunning sunset over Paracas Bay.
Ballestas Islands is one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the Earth and today you will embark on a 2-hour boat tour to experience it for yourself. Hear the roars of sea lions and witness teeming colonies of seabirds as they dive into the waters and soar above you. You may even spot dolphins and Humboldt penguins.
After the tour, enjoy the bus ride back to your Lima hotel for one last dinner in the capital city.
Fly to Arequipa where you’ll meet our representative to transfer you to your hotel. After some free time, your guide will meet you back at your hotel for a private tour of Arequipa’s highlights. Take a closer look at the mestizo baroque architecture, visit the San Ignacio Chapel, the imposing Basilica Cathedral, and the mini city of Santa Catalina Monastery. Then you’ll drive to a lookout point for views of the elegant Arequipa city framed by Misti Volcano.
The 3-hour drive from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon passes through the extraordinary landscapes of the Reserva Nacional de Salinas y Aguada Blanca. Pristine landscapes dotted with animals grazing makes for fantastic photography opportunities. Before the descent, you’ll reach Patapampa Pass at a staggering elevation of 16,109 feet (4,910 meters).
Stop in Chivay village for lunch, visit Calera Hot Springs, and continue to your lodge for a relaxing night. After sunset, we recommend you peer up at the starlit skies untouched by light pollution.
Your guide will meet you early this morning, the choice time to view condors, and bring you to Mirador Cruz del Condor where you’ll gaze in awe at the size of the condors gliding on thermal drifts over the gaping canyon below.
Return to Chivay for lunch and then begin the 5-6 hour drive to your Puno hotel. Remember that Lake Titicaca is at higher elevation than Colca Canyon. Take time to rest, try out spa services, or do some light exploration while you acclimate.
Begin your waterborne exploration of the world’s highest navigable lake - Lake Titicaca. Feel the sensation of standing on Uros Floating Islands and learn about how indigenous people maintain their long held traditions in a high altitude environment. Finish with a hike on Taquile Island to take in a spectacular sunset over the lake before the boat ride back to your hotel.
Rejuvenate yourself with a day of doing nothing but enjoying the incredible vistas of Lake Titicaca and your hotel amenities. After lunch, board the boat back to Puno for one last hotel night on the shores of this illustrious landscape.
In the morning you’ll fly from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, you’ll be met by an Inca Expert Travel representative who will go through your travel program and give you all your needed tickets.
Today, you’ll go on a walking tour through the top sites in the city of Cusco. You’ll visit the Cusco Cathedral and the most important temple of the Inca Empire: Coricancha.
Indulge in the flavors and sites of the bustling San Pedro Market where your guide will point out the locally-grown fruits and vegetables, some new and some familiar. Next, head into the San Blas neighborhood to watch artisans at work and purchase some unique Peruvian souvenirs.
After you’ve had your fill of shopping, your journey continues high above Cusco where the Inca ruins of Q’enqo and Sacasyhuamán watch over the city. Explore these enigmatic sites with your private guide who will point out important details and little known facts about these fascinating sites. You’ll be dropped off at your Luxury Cusco Hotel of choice after your tour for a free evening to relax and rest.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your private tour guide will meet you and your driver will take you through the cobblestone streets of Cusco and into the scenic Sacred Valley. Watch the landscapes roll by as they turn from nearby lush fields to distant snow-capped mountains.
After spectacular views of the Andes Mountains, you’ll stop at 3 highly impressive Inca ruins starting with the incredible Pisac ruins and famous Pisac Market. You’ll learn about the Sacred Valley and its history and importance to the Incas before making your final stop of the day at Ollantaytambo. At Pisac you also have the opportunity to purchase artisanal goods straight from the artisans as well!
Visit the last Incan stronghold, Ollantaytambo fortress, where you’ll see some of the most impressive functioning series of aqueducts and fountains out of all the Incan ruins in Peru. Afterwards, your guide will drop you off at your luxury hotel for a free afternoon of resting.
After a delicious Peruvian breakfast at your hotel you’ll meet your private tour guide and travel to the spectacular Maras Salt Mines. These ancient pools on terraced mountainsides collect natural saltwater that crystallizes and can be harvested. Take in the spectacular views and purchase some of this natural salt at a local market by the site.
Afterwards you’ll be transported to Moray and learn about its history and take in the views before heading over to MIL restaurant. Winner of the world’s top chef award Virgilio Martinez created this restaurant to explore Andean ingredients and bring you a delicious culinary experience with incomparable views: the Incan ruin of Moray.

After a private transfer back to the town of Ollantaytambo, you’ll board a train that will take you directly to Aguas Calientes where you’ll spend one last night before viewing the spectacular ruins of Machu Picchu.
An early morning will reward you with a momentous day of exploring the “Lost City of the Incas”. Your private tour guide will take you through the iconic ruins of Machu Picchu, discussing the mystery and skill of its construction as you absorb the magical landscape that surrounds this important ruin.
Return to Aguas Calientes and relax before your journey back to Cusco. Take in the final views of the Sacred Valley while you travel back. Your driver will be waiting at the station to take you back to your hotel for some much-deserved rest at your luxury hotel.

Your jungle adventure begins with a flight to Puerto Maldonado. The lodge staff will greet you upon arrival, transfer you to the lodge office to safely store large luggage items, and board a motorized canoe to travel along the river to your lodge. Keep your eyes peeled for first sightings of birds, reptiles, and animals along the banks of the Madre de Dios river.
Spend the afternoon with your naturalist guide doing some light exploration as you acclimate to the rainforest environment.
Escape into the bliss of unencumbered nature. Your excursion today will delight you with the incredible biodiversity of Peru’s rainforest. Visit an oxbow lake to observe hoatzin birds, squirrel monkeys, giant otters, and black caiman. Learn about medicinal plants and how Amazonian communities use them, and taste flavors only found here.
As night descends, listen to the sounds of the rainforest coming to life while you join your guide to explore the forest and spot critters that only come out after dark.
Start your day with a sunrise over the Amazon and breakfast in your lodge before you visit a clay lick where parrots and macaws gather in colorful flocks. After you’ve taken enough pictures, you’ll explore a trail that winds through giant ceiba trees reaching over 500 feet (150 meters) tall. Then, travel by boat to an organic farm where locals cultivate a range of fruits and vegetables, some of which will be strange and others familiar.
After a final breakfast at the lodge, embark on the scenic return boat journey back to Puerto Maldonado. Pick up your stored luggage from the lodge office as you say goodbye to your naturalist guide and continue onwards to the airport.
