Our clients have expressed their gratitude and appreciation with us. Have a look to see what makes our services so special.
The organization from the start was amazing. The hotels all around were wonderful. Cusco was the best and as I remembered from previous visit was my wife’s favorite. The connections via Latham were a little anxious going but returning to Lima no problem. The drivers drove safely and the autos clean. The tour guides were good. Some were better than others. Fabresio was the BEST. The others were ok. The food at the Casa Del Sol was great and didn’t realize dinner was included. The Incan restaurant in Cusco we ate at twice And pizza at La Bodaga was the best. The JW Marriott Lima was as expected. Overall 5 star, Pat and Rhonda
Our Peru trip was great right from the beginning. It was very smooth transitioning to El Mercado where we enjoyed our stay. All of the staff there were friendly and helpful. Included breakfasts were very good. We also enjoyed the happy hour music around the fire pit in the courtyard. Our Cusco tours were good with very professional guides who were full of knowledge about history and Inca Culture. Diana was especially enjoyable.
The transition to our Trek with Wayki was also good. Our guide Edgar was great! Full of stories and extremely easy going under adverse conditions....and we had several, which ultimately added to the stories on our adventure. As we left Cusco, it began to rain. When we went over Abra Lares Pass, we were in a snowstorm. No one was prepared for this kind of driving and the staff had the try and clear the road by hand. Cars were stuck and had to be pushed out of the way with steep cliffs to be cautious of. It was quite the experience. Throughout, everyone had a great attitude and sense of humor. We got by that and moved in to meet the horses. The trek itself was quite beautiful and we never saw any other trekkers along the way. We were quite spoiled having our tents setup, great food prepared and everything in order. We experienced every type of weather in the four days out. My only recommendation is that Wayki and or you better understand the experience level of the guests. The other two people were not really prepared for the altitude or camping in general. They were delightful people and Edgar and team adjusted and treated us all well, but I think that all would have benefited if this was known before the trip. We were all quite flexible, but it could have been a bigger issue. The train to km 104(106) was very nice and the last day of the Inca Trail was truly special. Entering through the Sun Gate is a mystical experience! We were joined by five others and another guide for these two days, which was nice. Machu Picchu was and amazing experience. WOW!
The hotel in Aquas Calientes was nice and we were ready for a shower.
I will give you this for now and tell you about the rest of the trip in the next few days.
All in all, you did a great job with our requests and the vacation was a real success.
We had an amazing trip! You and your team did an amazing job, and we really enjoyed our itinerary and all of our tour guides. It was perfect!
The only hotel that was a little rough around the edges was in Aguas Calientes (the brown water is a bit strange, but maybe thats normal there?). But it was a short stay there and we slept well after our long day of hiking, and woke up early to see Matchu Pichu again.
We would love to use you guys again. And now we are excited to see more of South America…
We had a wonderful time in the Sacred Valley. Our tour guide Peter could not have been better, we really enjoyed both his knowledge and his personality. Unfortunately I was ill that day, I must have picked up a bug in Lima because it hit me Thursday night and I know there were a number of women from the Mission that also were ill. So I struggled a bit getting through the hike in the park and was not able to do the Huayna Picchu hike. I was a bit dissapointed but these things happen and I was very grateful to have seen Machu Picchu. The train to and from Cusco was wonderful, we commented that it was like a ride at Disney World only all the sites were God's beauty. All transfers and necessary tickets were all in place and we were so glad that you took care of that for us, it made things very easy. We loved the Marriot, just as an FYI. We could not have been happier with the staff there. I don't think I have ever encountered more gracious people in service. I really can't say enough about the people we encountered there.
Cusco was lovely and we really enjoyed shopping and walking through the main square. So we did a bit of touring on our own on saturday before we did the cooking class. We both enjoyed the cooking class and the food was quite good that we prepared but I would say that it was a little too long (although maybe it would be fine if you were with others that you could meet). The other thing that bothered me was that there was quite a lot of food prepared and when we were unable to finish, it was thrown away and that was hard for me to see, especially given the circumstances of many of the people we encountered. But all in all I would say it was a good thing to do and we learned a lot. I am sorry but I cannot recall the women's name who did the class for us but she was very sweet and worked very hard to prepare the food.
Our tour of Cusco was also a good experience, it was great to see the city from many different vantage points and the Inca ruins were amazing. Our tour guide, Miguel (I think I am correct) was a nice man but did some grandstanding in his presentations about the Inca history. He was clearly negative about the Catholic faith and was a bit overbearing in expressing this to us. We tried to have a dialogue in a friendly way but being Catholics ourselves it started to become annoying and we found ourselves just staying quiet. Again I would say overall it was a fun day and we were happy to hear about the Inca culture and see the sites.
I want to thank you for all you did to make our trip so pleasant and I will be sure to pass your info on to anyone who might ask me. I hope our paths cross again and look forward to my next trip to your beautiful country.
Just arrived home Liz! We had a wonderful trip all around – thank you for your hard work in planning this and making sure that everything was seamless.
We had a GREAT time! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. We loved how organized the transportation schedule was (drivers, bus, trains, etc) and how friendly the representatives were. We liked the reminder notes left at the hotel front desk of our excursions, appointments, and when the drivers were going to pick us up. It made us rest even more at ease knowing that everyone was working hard to make sure things were on time and on schedule.
We LOVED Casa San Blas…so quaint, simple, and bright! We ate at the recommended restaurants from the company guide book and all restaurants were top quality, authentic, and delicious! Same goes for the night life list and areas to visit in Cusco. It only rained one day when we were there and it was mainly at night, so we had great weather through the majority of the trip. We shopped a lot, ate a lot, walked around A LOT…and took A LOT of pictures of course!!!
The tour guides that you gave us were all VERY informative and professional. We enjoyed having “leisure time” during our schedule, so it didn’t feel too hectic. It was the perfect balance of free time and exploration.
During our train trip to Machu Picchu, a tree fell in front of our train so we stopped on the tracks for about an hour or so. What we really appreciated was that even though we were delayed by 1.5 hours, your representatives pushed back our Machu Picchu tour to compensate for our delay. It all ended up wonderful because we got to see Machu Picchu in the afternoon light…which was definitely breathtaking!
The hotel in Aguas Calientes was more than we expected. We had a great time celebrating Halloween there that night! I’m so glad you booked the Huayna Picchu tour! We were the 3rd and 4th people up at the top and we had spectacular views! The fog lifted just as we started to climb up at 7am, so it ended up being a nice warm hike.
Thank you so much Kelly for putting together such a wonderful trip. Everything turned out just as we expected and then some! We appreciate all your hard work and we will DEFINITELY recommend you to our friends and family!
We had a wonderful trip. Thank you for all the help. Everything went smoothly. Great guides and transfers were always there waiting for us. We highly recommend the trekking. Our group was just four and we were able to go at our own pace. We carried on after Huarmihuanusqa pass and stopped at Chaqui Cocha. So our second day was really big, but we were so happy we went on. Pacaymayo was crowded and muddy because of the rain. The Hotels you arranged were wonderful. We will always remember our trip to Peru . What a wonderful experience.
I want to extend my appreciation and thanks for making our trip to Machu Picchu absolutely enjoyable and hassle-free. Your guides welcomed us at every step of the way, from Kathleen in Cusco to the drivers and the wonderful guide at Machu Picchu. We were very impressed with the quality of the accommodations and absence of problems. Having both sons with me made this trip extra special.
We all enjoyed meeting you in Miraflores and once again thank you.

Thanks for checking on our trip. We had a wonderful experience; everything went very well. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were met on time for all transfers. Both hotels were very good. I will recommend you to all who ask.
The trip to Peru was beautiful, we had a great time!!!! Loved it…would do it all over again…we are thinking about going next year to visit the Nazca lines, and to visit other beautiful places in my lovely Country.
Thank you for everything,
We were delighted with all your company’s performance. Once again thanks to all guides and staff.
Hope you are having a great start to 2018. Our apologies for not circling back to you on our trip to Peru that you had helped plan and coordinate for us so well.
I would like to sincerely thank you for your time and dedication working with us right from our first email/call requesting information on Peru to the time when we firmed up our travel plans and itinerary. This was one of the top items on our bucket list and we are glad we chose Inca Expert and had your expertise guide us through the planning and execution of this trip.
Everything went according to plan, the itinerary you had sent us detailing every aspect of the trip - travel details, what to expect, daily local plans - was extremely helpful. Our highlight was definitely the 2 day hike to Macchu Pichu , as strenuous as it was it was equally pleasurable and got a new high scaling the trail from Km 104 up to the mountain. We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful Cusco was and it certainly had a lot to offer. The trips organized in Cusco were good and informative. The first one which was a half day tour was great, the guide was knowledgeable and fun and took some great photos for us :), the second day offered more beautiful sights but the guide wasn't someone I may recommend again ( not very engaging, knowledgable or interested) trip to Lake Titicaca was expectedly long but the sunrises and visit to the Uros Floating Islands was unique and memorable.
All in all, a fantastic and memorable trip for us and this would not have been possible with all the great insight from you and the team at Inca Expert and for that we thank you greatly. As a travel advisor, you certainly went over and above what we had expected and were wonderful and I think we were glad that you were helping us.
I will be sure to recommend your services to any of my friends looking to make a trip to Peru.
P.S - Sending you a few pictures of our trip to Peru attached to this email.
If you need me to review our trip on any other site please let me know.
Karthik and Shilpa
First of all I want to thank you and everybody on the company staff, and Wilda and Janette for making my trip to Peru a very memorable experience. Me and my friend were so amazed by the breathtaking beauty of Peru, its history, and its people. We also enjoyed shopping for handicrafts and we like the Peruvian cuisine so much. We surely miss Peru and we hope we can come back next year to explore the rest of the country since we spent only 5 days, but I have tons of pictures and memories that I share here with my friends. We highly recommend you!
I just want to let you know that my husband and I enjoyed our trip to Peru very much. We have been telling our friends about Peru and your excellent service. Some of my friends are planning to go Peru this year, and we are hoping to go back to Peru and other countries of South America in the future. We really appreciate what you have done for us. We want to thank Fabricio, our excellent guide at Machu Picchu. We will keep telling our friends about our tip to Peru.
Thank you so much!!
Peru was simply great!!! It was our first time to South America and we loved it!!!
We left Peru with a ton of photos and lots of shopping and wonderful memories….one week is definitely not enough and I hope one day I will have the opportunity, time and money to go back to spend more time in your beautiful country!!
Once again, thank you!!!
We had a wonderful time and were very pleased with all your travel services. Everyone seemed to really enjoy what they were doing, were very knowledgeable and really cared about how we were enjoying ourselves. Hotels were great.
Have tons of photos that we are enjoying.
Hope you are over your pneumonia and feeling much better.
I’d been slacking on writing you back because I wanted to write you a really good email detailing what a great time that we had.
1. Our hotels were fantastic. We were really impressed with how the guide company and the hotel in Arequipa worked together to get our luggage (thanks, American Airlines…). That would not have happened in the states. All of the accommodations were very comfortable and unique; we would gladly stay in anyone of them again and they were better than what we would have picked. We met two folks from the UK who envied our hotel in Lima and said that their company booked them a bunch of crummy hotels away from everything for the whole week and we realized how lucky we were to have gone through you. THANK YOU so much for the upgrade in Aguas Calientes. Our two days at Machu Picchu were definitely our favorites. I think we both wished we had hiked at least part of the Inca trail, but maybe it was just because our two days there were so great. Posadas Amazonas was really cool. We saw an awesome but rare thunderstorm there at night and the thatched roof worked great. Food was really good, especially in the middle of the jungle, and we saw tons of wildlife. We recommend that guests use the midday time to walk around alone; you can see more that way we think since the wildlife isn’t as freaked out.
2. Our guides were fantastic. Absolutely the best guides ever – and way better than any American guides. David in Cuzco stands out in my mind – he’s like a guide celebrity! He is president of the national assoc. of guides in Peru. Spending the day with him was such a treat. But Maria at Machu Picchu was also fantastic – and such a trooper since it poured on us for 1.5 hours. The whole Giardina (spelling) company in Arequipa was so helpful (waiting in line with us at the airport even), friendly and excited to have us visit their town. Leny in the Amazon was really adept at spotting wildlife and super friendly. She (actually, everyone!) spoke excellent English and I appreciated that basically her whole life is dedicated to being a guide 7 days a week!
3. Destinations: amazing! We enjoyed every minute of every day. Each city was totally different. I wouldn’t have changed anything. We did the telescope event at the hotel and that was neat too-the fellow running it definitely knew a lot about astronomy. I really wondered what someone with his skills was doing in Colca valley and he ran the show just for us
What else can I say? I’ve already forwarded your information to my friend, who’s considering planning a trip to Peru in the next year.
Thanks so much,
Thanks so much for following up. Here’s what I have to say which you can feel free to use as a testimonial.
Our trip to Peru was absolutely amazing and truly unforgettable. Our entire vacation went seamlessly thanks to you. We didn’t have to concern ourselves with transportation since it was all taken care of and the drivers were very prompt. The tour guides were informative and friendly, especially Fabricio who went into great detail about the Incas & Quechua, and the hospitality of the hotels was stunning (even for 3 star hotels).
Being able to customize our itinerary was so satisfying and allowed us to plan the perfect trip. The ease of going from one hotel to another was very much welcomed and a bit of a relief. Someone from the hotel even came to meet us at the train station to take our bags since we were going straight to Macchu Picchu from the train. And the reps were so helpful and friendly giving us all the necessary info and tickets, familiarizing us with every aspect of our itinerary and what we should expect. Corey and Danielle really made us feel at home in a foreign country, and Rylee Mcgowan made planning the trip a cinch with her insightful recommendations. I only wish the company offered their services around the world….
Macchu Picchu really is a magical place, and although I was terrified, the climb up Waynu Picchu was very rewarding. It’s also worth mentioning we now have a top two favorite restaurants in the world: Limo Cucina Peruana in Cusco & Alfrescas in Lima. This trip really has changed our lives.
Thanks again for all your help, Rylee. It certainly wouldn’t have been the same without your help!
We very much enjoyed our trip to Peru. We were amazed by the variety of climate, topography, landscapes, archeology, and culture in your country. And we were impressed by the efficiency of the transportation systems — whether by air, rail, water, or highway. Contacts, tours, and transfers were all as scheduled. The trip exceeded our expectations. There were many memorable moments, among them going to dinner with you to Tanta’s in Lima, a most amazing seafood restaurant. Perhaps the most unusual, if not the best seafood we have ever tasted.
We would highly recommend your Travel Agency to friends and relatives. We were favorably impressed by the tour guides on all of our mini-tours. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke very good English, for those of us who don’t understand Spanish. And they were most helpful in answering our many questions, especially when it came to giving advice on good places to shop, and excellent restaurants. We fell in love with the Alpaca wool sweaters and multi colored table cloths.
We think that what makes your agency exceptional is the personal, 24-hour service you provide, your ease of accessibility throughout Peru, and your prompt, courteous, and competent attention to our needs. There will always be glitches in any trip, no matter how well planned. And we had our share over 20 days. However, you and your team always responded in a timely and more-than-satisfactory fashion. Case in point — when our flight from Puno to Arequipa was cancelled one morning, resulting in the cancellation of a scheduled afternoon tour of Arequipa, at no expense to us, you rescheduled our flight to Arequipa, as well as the city tour and return flight to Lima on our last day in country. This actually turned out to be a more convenient itinerary for us in the long run, with no loss of planned sight-seeing.
Thank you again for the attention you and your staff gave to us during our delightful and adventurous stay in your beautiful country!
We had a great trip. We enjoyed Peru very much and were fascinated by the country’s history and people. Its food was also very delicious and tasty. Our private tour of Machu Picchu in the afternoon was great not only because it was sunny, but there were actually less people.
All in all you did a great job. Thank you very much.
We appreciate the fact that the company was able to make our trip go as smoothly as possible. Usually we plan our own trips, but we needed a tour company in Peru.
Peru for Less was a trip saver when a protest closed the border from Puno to Cusco. It was amazing that Rylee was able to get in contact with us while we were riding on a boat in Lake Titicaca and explained to us that arrangements had already been made to get us by bus that night to Cusco. We were picked up at our Puno hotel, taken to the bus station, picked up in Cusco, and then taken to our hotel in Cusco. All of this was arranged for us.
We would happily recommend you to anyone traveling to Peru.
Thanks for taking care of us!
Your company must be the best at planning. We had a long, detailed itinerary and your company didn’t miss a beat in arranging it for us. Your support when minor “bumps” occurred was much appreciated and every detailed worked to perfection.
Our trip was absolutely fabulous and what I call a perfect tour/non-tour. We enjoyed the benefits of having airport pickups, transportation to/from hotels, guided tours, and the ability to contact someone if need be. Our only responsibility was being ready on time. The non-tour part that we loved was having our own time to explore and choose our own restaurants.
Our favorite hotels were Casa Mamayacchi, Eco Inn, Casa San Blas, Sanctuary Lodge, Las Torres, and Patagonia Queen. Each hotel was located an easy walking distance into town and anything else we wanted to do. The staff at each hotel was accommodating and very helpful.
Each guide, living in the region we were touring in, was very knowledgeable and provided us with invaluable information. They happily shared information when we asked questions and I love hearing their views about different things.
All of the guides and drivers were extremely professional. The cars, vans and buses were new and clean. The drivers even wore dress shirts, ties and sometimes jackets!
Your company policy to take a few minutes to brief passengers at each new destination is nice. We’re seasoned travelers, but appreciated meeting with everyone to make sure our trip went as planned.
Machu Picchu and Torres del Paine were unforgettable. If one takes the knowledge
we gained, along with the flora and fauna we saw, the people, their culture, and historical sites we visited, it was a trip of a lifetime. It also didn’t hurt that the weather fully cooperated!
It was a pleasant experience working with you.
My best regards,
We traveled to Peru in November and planning for the trip was a breeze thanks to Silvana! I really like that the itinerary with your company is so customizable and that they are able to accommodate changes at any time.
Peru was a very unique and memorable experience for us: Machu Picchu was definitely the trip highlight. We also really liked the location of our hotel (Casa Andina San Blas) and its
proximity to shopping and restaurants. I must mention that we had several vegetarian restaurants nearby which had amazing vegetarian and vegan food, so food was not a problem in Cusco! Also, the guides we had were very friendly and informative. All our tours were on time and were exactly as mentioned in the itinerary.
We are very pleased to have Silvana as our travel advisor and we want to thank her for the
excellent arrangements and especially for accommodating our Lima hotel request at the last
minute. She was very helpful and a pleasure to work with!
We definitely recommend Silvana. The itinerary that she planned made our trip so easy to plan and hassle free.
We really had a wonderful trip. I very much felt that all the guides did a great job and added value in terms of understanding what we were seeing. The drivers were all on time and helpful.
All in all a very nice experience and I appreciate all your help and assistance before and during the trip.
Our trip was terrific. Everything went smoothly from the time we arrived at the airport to our departure. All of the guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. The hotels were excellent and we loved the Peruvian cuisine.
It’s hard to say what we liked best. Machu Picchu is breathtaking and the Amazon rainforest is amazing. We had a great time at Hacienda Concepcion, the staff members were very friendly and the food was exceptional.
We have not used a travel service in the past but we are certainly glad we chose your company for this trip. Everything was coordinated perfectly and having all of the transportation arranged at every step of the way was a real pleasure.
Thank you for making this a vacation to be remembered. I have attached a couple of photos.
The trip was amazing. I don’t know how else to put it other than that. The whole thing was perfect. I enjoyed every minute of it. My biggest disappointment related to the trip was the fact that I did not stay longer. Before deciding to book I did a bit of research and read through many testimonials to try to get a sense, specifically, from women traveling alone as to their comfort level once in Peru. The rave reviews I read led me to feel comfortable with your company and I am so glad I booked the trip through you. Everything was flawless. When I landed in Lima I was a bit nervous, but once I saw my name on the board being held by my transfer, all hesitations and reservations vanished. All my transfers were on time, super friendly, and quite perfect. I am really happy that I took an extra day in Lima. Lima is such a beautiful city, it was really nice to be in such perfect spot to be able to explore the Miraflores district completely on foot.
The lodge Posadas Amazonas where I stayed while in the jungle was fantastic. I don’t even know how to describe the Amazon portion of my trip. It was everything I had imagined and more. The guides and staff at Posadas Amazonas are all amazing, super friendly, and very knowledgeable. The variety of wildlife that I saw exceeded my expectations. Cuzco is a one of a kind city. I absolutely fell in love with Cuzco. I stayed at the Casa San Blas, which was in a perfect location. I can’t say enough good things about Casa San Blas. The staff was absolutely wonderful, always smiling, super helpful and friendly.
The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was the last part of my trip. I was a bit concerned having this be the last part of the trip, but it was the best way to end such a wonderful adventure. The weather was perfect, except for the morning of day 4 when we headed out on the last leg of the hike to get to Machu Picchu. It rained all morning, but just as we got to the Sun Gate the rain stopped and the fog moved so we had a clear view of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate. It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. The group for the Inca Trail trek ended up being very small. It was myself, a woman from Australia, our guide, and our porters. It was so nice to have such a small group. Since there were just two of us we had full attention from Antonio, our guide, which made for a fantastic experience. While at Machu Picchu I climbed Huayna Picchu. I must admit that after completing the Inca Trail once I saw Huayna Picchu I wondered what in the world I was thinking. I just couldn’t figure out why I was going to climb yet another mountain after what I had just completed. The view from Huayna Picchu is breath taking. Once up the mountain I was so glad that I took the time to climb it. It is a climb, however, that is not for the faint of heart.
Overall I was beyond happy with everything. I really enjoyed working with you and Peru For Less!
Thank you for everything!
Everything went really well, all the drivers and tour guides were great and the one who did the day tour in Cusco was phenomenal. Everyone was really friendly and on time. Your services were also great and even though I didn’t think we’d need to contact you during the trip, it was great when we had a problem in Cusco.
If I was to do it again, I think I’d pick another hotel in the area and in regards to the hotels in the Sacred Valley, I think it would be nice for a family to be centered in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba. The hotel was fabulous, but a little out of the way. It wasn’t a huge issue. The kids had a lot of fun at the little playground in the hotel.
I loved the hotel in Arequipa-location, room size, and morning buffet. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was fine with a fabulous view from our 4th floor room. Some people may not like the stairs, but we didn’t care.
All the tours were very interesting, but I would have enjoyed more time in Pisac as I found it a fun little place. We also would have spent more time in Ollantaytambo as well if we had been feeling better. Can’t think of much else to say, the trip met our expectations. We’re thinking of going back to Arequipa again in the future as we’d like to see Colca Canyon. I loved Peru ?
It's been a week since our return from Peru, and it all seems like some exquisite airbrushed dream, except for the twist in my knee sustained on some Quechuan terrace somewhere. First of all let me say that the grandeur of the ruins and vistas were surpassed only by the quiet charm and sincerity of our/your guides and of the Peruvian people in general.
In particular, Irene in Lima gave us great insight into the incredible finds that occur on a daily basis. She took us to a dig she participated in, where a hill turned into a vast, undiscovered preInca structure with many mysteries yet to be discovered. Her background as an archaeologist was evident and her enthusiasm and excitement were contagious. What a great intro into what would follow. Alexandra, who escorted us around Moray, and waited patiently while we experienced 2.5 hours at MIL, was equally enthusiastic and proud of her Quechua/Mestizo/Spanish heritage, and provided some unique insight into how the Quechua in her reconciles with her deep Catholicism and Spanish genes with her native ancestors. On the last day Alex and his driver had us for over 8 hours, delivering us safely at our hotel only to have to drive another 2 hours home. Whatever they are paid, it is not enough.
Whatever few and minor logistical hiccups we experienced were quickly and satisfactorily dealt with by your handlers/guides.
Here is a link to a google photo album. You may find a picture or two you can use. There are pictures from many of the dishes served at MIL. If you go, skip the coffee experience. Otherwise, quite interesting. We intend to visit the Galapagos in the future, if you can think of some plan that addresses severe sea sickness. Best regards,
Harold and Anne O.
We had an amazing trip. Peru is trully beautiful. We were very happy we did the 4 day trek. Our guide was amazing. The porters were so helpful and the food was very good. I would definitely reccomend this trip for anyone who is ready for an adventure. Lynn and I also really enjoyed the two day tours that we took in Cusco and felt that
they were very well organized.
Thank you so much for the amazing trip to Peru you organized for my husband and me. I admire your professionalism while helping us with accommodation and transport and ensuring the best guides in the different places. We spent the most wonderful, interesting, relaxing, and trouble-free vacation ever. This was the trip of my dreams; I never thought it would come true! Machu Picchu was incredible.
Thank you also for your patience and fast responses during the 3 months preparation for the trip.
I happened to have a birthday in Arequipa and you made it really special by this wonderful surprise we found when entered the hotel room there. I was touched to tears. Now I know I have a friend in Peru and please don’t forget you have 2 Bulgarian friends.
I already recommended you to my daughter and son-in-law who are interested in a trip to Machu Picchu.
We had a great trip! The one day Inca Trail hike was fabulous-loved our guide Edwin! I wished we would’ve had more time to spend in the Galapagos-because we only did the short cruise we didn’t get to see all of the animals we’d like to have seen. Overall we had excellent guides and excellent accommodations. I was very impressed with the people-everyone was so nice and the cities were so clean, especially Cusco. Thanks so much for all your help putting the trip together!
We arrived in Cusco early in the morning we were met by our representative. She was very friendly and took us to our hotel. We had a bit of a rest before we were collected in the afternoon to see the sights around Cusco. Once again the representatives were prompt. The driver and guide were very friendly, and the guide was also informative and funny. We loved the Cathedral and Saqsaywaman.
The next morning we had to be up bright and early to go to Machu Picchu. Train ride there was stunning. We were served a snack in style. When we got to the town at the bottom of Machu Picchu the guide was there to collect us and show us the way to the busses. Machu Picchu is one of the most stunning places I have ever been to. I can’t imagine how long it took them to get all those rocks on top of one another, but the fact that they did it is amazing.
I would recommend your company to all my friends. The service we recieved was excellent and everything went like clockwork. Thanks to Kelly for arranging the package to our needs and for all your advice and help
I can’t thank you enough for helping make my dream trip a reality! Peru was everything I had imagined, and more. Every aspect of the trip that you had planned for us went smoothly.
The drivers were on time, and very courteous. The tour guides were wonderful, especially, David. He went the extra mile to explain things to us in detail, and to answer my never ending questions. All of the hotels that you sent us to were wonderful – excellent choices. The locations were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Your suggestion to take the Maras and Moray tour was right on, that was a wonderful tour. I’m also so happy you had us stay in the Sacred Valley and extra day. Ollantaytambo was fascinating, and well worth spending extra time there. Also thanks to your suggestions, we had some wonderful meals in Lima. Cala was an excellent recommendation for dinner. The seafood was awesome. Next time I plan a trip to Latin America, you’ll be the first person I call! Many thanks!
We had so much fun in Peru and we are now back in New York. We were sad when we woke up and we realized we were not in Cusco anymore. Thank you for the seamless travel arrangements you provided for us-all the tours were on time, if not early, and all the guides were good and passionate (we were surprised to know that Fabricio is a descendant of one of the last Incas!). It was truly an amazing experience.
Thank you so much for your assistance with my amazing experience in South America. For as flexible, cost efficient, and simple as it was to organize, everything exceeded my expectations and ran flawlessly.
Peru (Cuzco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Lima) was the highlight of the six weeks I had in South America. Colorful, delicious, breathtaking-I wish I had more time there! Machu Picchu is a very special place, something everyone should experience. As a single traveler, I enjoyed having different tours to join because it enabled me to meet lots of people every day.
Muchas gracias para todos, mis viajes estuvan muy excellente! I will definitely be contacting you in the future for my return.
You beat me to the punch as I was planning to send you an email to thank you so much for all your help! Everything about the trip you organized went so well and was designed as if you knew us! After our previous unsuccessful attempts to organize the trip with other agencies we were understandably anxious and distrustful about what we would encounter when we got to Peru.
We needn’t have worried because it was all handled perfectly. At every stop our guide or transport was waiting for us and told us what to expect. They were all courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The hotels were perfect for our tastes. Our bus seats were a pleasant surprise as we hadn’t recalled asking for the VIP seats that allowed us to stretch out more comfortably on the overnight ride (we may have talked about this but I don’t recall doing so) and our guide helped us change our time of departure on the return to Lima which was very helpful. Everything went like clockwork and we are so grateful. You turned our experience from dread to delight! Thank you for everything!
PS: We also appreciate the help in providing a testimonial which we most certainly will do. You’ve earned it! And when we ever travel to Peru, you’ll be the first number we’ll call.
We had such a magical experience!!!
We are so impressed with the service that we received during our recent trip to Peru. We were greeted at each location by one of your representatives who were always very informative about our itinerary and made great recommendations.
Our tours were fantastic! We loved our guides who all seemed to have a very spiritual connection to “Pachamama” and shared with us much of the history and legends at each location.
The white water rafting and the horseback ride to Moras and Moray were awesome. We were especially impressed with the wonderful local-style meals that were included in each of those tours. Lunching with our guides and drivers gave us an opportunity to learn more about how the local people live, their customs and beliefs. We also had some “chicha” which was quite tasty.
The train ride to Puno was a great experience. There was always something happening to keep you entertained. Plus, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Uros Islands and the Isle of Tequile.
What can I say about Machu Picchu … WOW. Pictures cannot capture the beauty and energy of Machu Picchu. We had planned to hike Huayna Picchu on our second day; however, our guide suggested that we hike Mountania Machu Picchu instead. We are so glad that we did. The hike was a very challenging and extremely rewarding experience. The views were spectacular.
Thank you Kelly! We had such a wonderful time that we are going to do it again…this time on the Inca Trail. Talk to you soon!
All was well organized. The Cusco and Valley tour were great with knowledgeable guides who were proud of their heritage. Dad and I enjoyed the hike into Machu Picchu. The rainy season came early and a poncho is not enough to fend off the driving rain. We stayed wet most of the hike. The trail dining experience was fabulous and welcome after the grueling day.
Our trip to Peru was a memorable adventure. The hotels, city tours, and the Inca Trek were all fabulous. Thank you for working with us to meet all our needs while we were in Peru. The itinerary you prepared was perfect for us.
We researched several companies before we left and spoke to many fellow travelers along the way. You were the perfect choice. The price was at least 1/3 less than most companies and the personal service was top notch.
We’ve already recommended your company to our friends and family. We will certainly contact you next time we plan to travel to South America. Thank you again for everything.
Your logistics worked perfectly on the field. You have been a great help and I sincerely thank you for it.
The hotels were lovely. I particularly liked Sonesta Posada del Inca in Arequipa – a charming place, strategically positioned, kind and discrete staff, beautiful terraces, lovely view. I wish we could have spent more time in Arequipa.
Our second hotel was the Colca Canyon Lodge where we had a nice and cozy apartment with 2 bedrooms, a spacious sitting room, small terrace, and a perfect view over the valley. The Colca Valley is a mythical, mystical place. Definitely one of the places I would like to visit again.
In Cusco, the charming streets reminded me of our Mediterranean streets along the Croatian coastline, while the crooked little houses of the San Blas quarter looked like those in Sarajevo’s Turkish quarter. I found the Casa San Blas Boutique hotel sweet and comfortable with a lovely view over the city and a gentle and kind staff. I particularly liked the moving and confusion in the narrow Cuesta de San Blas when a car stopped to pick up hotel guests, with lot of honking and yelling. We walked up to San Blas square and there was an artistic fair. I bought some watercolor paintings in the local art shop; everybody is crazy about them over here.
If I would have to pick one guide I liked the best (and all of them were very good indeed) it would probably be Luis, the one that was with us on our journey from Arequipa to Canyon de Colca. His big smile, wit, gestures, the information he provided and the energy he put in it were amazing. Jorje, the driver, discrete and helpful, would also be among my favorites.
My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week trip to Peru. We were initially going to plan our trip on our own but realized quickly it would be a little difficult! When looking around on the web, we came across some tour companies that could help us with our planning. We chose you because we got the best prices and fastest responses from our advisor Staci. She was so helpful with our planning. The best part about going with a tour/travel company is the support you get while you are on your vacation. We had some bumps in the road at the beginning of our vacation and you took care of all of it for us! We were so thankful we had them to help us!
We planned 3 different areas to visit while we were in Peru. First, we went to Iquitos, Peru, to get our Amazon River experience. We booked a 3 day trip with Amazon Explorama Lodges. We had a wonderful time in the Amazon and our guide Lucio was great! We stayed 1 night at ACT’s Field Station and 1 night at ExploNapo Lodge. We went on the canopy walkway, went fishing on the Amazon, went looking for wildlife, and visited a Shaman. It was a wonderful experience! See below for a picture of us on the Canopy Walkway looking out for miles at the Amazon Rainforest! It was so peaceful and beautiful!
We then flew to Cusco and spent a few days up in the mountains! We took the train to see Machu Picchu. We did a 2-day hike to Machu Picchu with Wayki Trek. We had such a great experience on this hike. We didn’t have enough time in our itinerary to do the 4-day hike so we decided to do the 2-day hike. We got off the train at KM 104 and started hiking through the Andes. We had an awesome guide, Antonio, who made our experience even better! We would highly recommend doing the 2-day hike to Machu Picchu if you can’t or don’t want to do the 4 day Inca Trail hike. You still get to experience seeing Machu Picchu for the first time through the Sun Gate just like the Incas did! It was amazing! We then got to spend the next day exploring Machu Picchu! We also spent one night in Ollantaytambo. We stayed at El Albergue Bed & Breakfast right in the train station. We enjoyed our day exploring Ollantaytambo and the bed and breakfast was a beautiful little place! We highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Ollantaytambo.
The third and last part of our trip was to visit Puno and experience Lake Titicaca. We took a tour bus from Cusco to Puno and got to see a lot of towns, ruins, and history. Once we arrived to Puno, we enjoyed the city in the evening. The next day we booked a Lake Titicaca home stay on Amantani Island. We started our day visiting the Floating Islands then took a boat to Amantani Island. We also had a wonderful tour guide, Joni, who was with us the entire two days! He grew up on Amantani Island and we had the pleasure of staying with his family once we arrived to the Island. We had home-cooked meals with his family and felt their way of living. We were going to hike up to the top of the Island to watch the sunset but unfortunately I started getting a terrible headache and was bedridden all night long. His family was so supportive and went out of their way to find me oxygen and medicine to make me feel better! I also got to try some home remedies like drinking Coca Tea and placing tea leaves on my forehead to help relieve the headache! They went scurrying all over the island to find ways to help me feel better and for that I will be forever grateful! It could have been altitude sickness or just a severe headache, but either way, they were wonderful to me! Being sick on an island with a hospital that was closed for the night was quite the experience! Being a nurse myself didn’t help the situation either! I knew what I needed and couldn’t get it! How frustrating! The next day after feeling 100% better, we went to Taquille Island and had lunch then rode back on the boat to Puno. We spent another night in Puno and then headed back to Lima to end our trip!
At each new journey there was a representative there to greet us and put our minds at ease with answering any questions we had and giving us the needed forms/tickets. Thank you, for making our Peru adventure amazing! A special thanks to Staci for spending so much time helping us plan our trip. She wrote up 8 itineraries for us because we couldn’t make up our minds on what we wanted to do within our budget! She was so helpful! What an experience! Thank you!
I will do a followup note on Trip Advisor, recognizing many people do use this information to make travel decisions, however, knowing that each of us has different expectations based our individual travel experiences I find it a bit condescending and for the most part not very helpful. Happily through my research I identified Inca Travel as valuable resources for planning our trip to Peru and the Galapagos Islands. Feel free to quote my email if that is helpful.
Overall the value for the money spent was right on. Each of properties you recommended were excellent and enhanced our experience. The guides were excellent as well, Natalia in Lima, very personable, Manuel in Cusco, who went the extra step to make our time was special, he offers a spiritual view of the Inca, very effective, Peter in Machu Picchu, truly knowledgeable and respectful of site, and Fabrizio in Sacred Valley, just a joy be with, who knows how to avoid the crowds. They all had a passion for the work and a commitment to our time together. In the Galapagos, Viviana, Blanca and Nataly were very trained and very responsive to meeting our needs. They all understand that the islands are a special treasure to be protected and respected. Since they were all citizens of islands they truly understand what a special place they live in and appreciate.
While it maybe a given, we appreciated the on time arrival of each of the drivers and their competence. They are a few crazy drives Lima and Cusco for sure, but that is also part of fun, as long as I was not having drive.
Thanks for resolving the meals issue at Finch Bay, a lovely place. The downside is the rooms are dated and they were performing construction/remodeling throughout the day, which was a bit disturbing for two of 18 units. Since we were gone most time this was not an issue. They have excellent staff at the front desk and wait staff for the restaurant, with very good food. Both of the Aranwa properties were very good and we would happily return to them again. Aranwa Sacred Valley is beautiful site and because we had an upgrade to a suite that sat above the Urubamba River this was a wonderful experience and again the staff was excellent, well trained and very personable. Also the Inketarra hotel we very enjoyabel and good place stay a parf of the Machu Picchu experience.
All the fights worked fine. I am not sure why we took a later flight from Guayaquil to Quito on April 13th, since there were several flights leaving within 3046 of our arrival. Possibly the connections weret to tight? Ironically flight #1410 on Latam, which we were on from Baltra to Guayaquil, is then a continuation to Quito. We were booked on #!418 several hours later.
Some gudies asked me to forward a copy of the photos I took, if you could forward them that would be great. I will send them separately as the files are big. I don’t want these used in social media. If you wish to use them as part of your web site I am okay with that.
Thanks James for you help. Based on the number of days we had to travel the itinerary was well done. As is always the case we probably should have stayed in Galapagos serveral more day to take advantage of visting several other islands, such as Santa Fe, but possibly tha is our reason to come back.
Our trip was more than we ever expected. All of the travel arrangements were perfect, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The weather was very nice (we expected a lot of rain, but we only had a few hours of rain in the jungle). Our trip was great.
I think the highlight of our trip was Machu Picchu. It was incredible to see the ruins, and it was so beautiful. We also loved Cusco, and the Jungle Trip was also incredible.
Thanks again for all of your help. We hope to visit Peru again soon,
and we will certainly recommend you to our friends.
The trip with my mother to PERU is an experience I will never forget. Even if you’ve read a thousand books and talked to a million people about PERU, you won’t have the same experience of taking just are step and taking in the air, isn’t the same.
Not only did I learn about the ruins from the tour guides, I learned the philosophy, and the INCA culture, and some jokes to make the tour more FUN!.
I will always remember the grocery store owner that spoke to my Mother and I about the QUECHUA Language for 2 hours at store, it was the greatest lecture ever!
I felt jealous to see some of the Island people of Lake TITIKAKA, never saw a car before and never heard the car alarm go off all night because of a car thief, which always happens around New York City where we live.
I hope PERU stays the same forever!!.
Our family appreciates all the excellent travel assistance you have provided us on our Peru vacation. All of the places we visited (Lima, Arequipa, the Coca Valley, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Sacred Valley, and of course Machu Picchu) were utterly fascinating and the guides were excellent. My family will continue to remember the amazing people and places we visited in Peru. In the future if we visit South America again, we will definitely contact you.
We, a Dutch family of 12 persons, had a fantastic time in Peru thanks to the program that you arranged for us. Everything was very well arranged from the start at the airport in Lima to the end at the same location. Everywhere drivers/guides were waiting for us and brought us to our hotels. The tour that you had chosen for us was very diversified and spectacular. Starting with the Islas Ballestas, then the famous Nazca Lines, the floating Islands at the Titicaca Lake, the cultural centre of Cuzco, the Lares trekking in the Andes Mountains and finally the famous Machu Picchu. What attracted us especially was the combination of nature (the Andes) and culture (the Incas). This is unique. But we could enjoy these that much, thanks to the perfect organization of our journey. Everywhere enthusiastic local guides were showing us the most interesting places en giving us relevant information. People in the hotels were very friendly, as the people in Peru in general are, and made our stay unforgettable.
Many, many thanks for your efforts,
Our trip to Peru was excellent! Everything was so well organized– we didn’t have to worry about a thing– and the hotels and guides were excellent. Machu Picchu was of course the highlight and the Inkaterra Pueblo Hotel in Aguas Calientes was one of our favorites (their food was fabulous too!). My favorite guide was on the trip to the Colca Canyon. Not only was he a very knowledgeable guide; he took great care of us all. We had a wonderful time, and are already thinking about going back. For the next visit, we would plan to spend more time in Lima, in Cusco and in Aguas Calientes, then add a few days in the Amazon or something similar. Thanks again for all of your help with this trip. We loved it!
We had a fabulous time! The personnel were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the adventure. We fell in love with Peru and are eager to return. Our very best salutations to you and your great crew!
Jim and I had a fabulous time in Peru thanks to all the hard work you all put forth coordinating our trip in April to this most fascinating and beautiful land. Obliviously, it is the people who make it so very worthwhile, and we want to express our most sincere gratitude to all those who made it very comfortable and pleasurable for us. Peru, its people, culture and beauty will remain forever in our hearts as a very special place, and we do hope to return one day in the future.
With Sincerest Gratitude,
I had a wonderful time in Peru and loved all the places I visited. My guides and contacts were excellent. I suffered with altitude sickness but my guide going to the Colca Canyon got me some medicine and I felt better. I was impressed with the cleanliness and high standard of the hotels and food. Cusco was my favorite town and hotel and I wish that I had spent a bit more time there. Machu Picchu was of course magnificent and I liked it in the rain and mist.
Peru will be a very happy memory for me always, thank you very much for making it all possible.
Though we travel 5-6 weeks every summer (we are teachers), we have never traveled with a tour company before. We were initially a bit overwhelmed by booking and visiting the Amazon and Machu Picchu. Your company was incredibly accommodating and created a tour specific to our requests.
We stayed in the Amazon with Amazon Rainforest Excursions at the Posada Amazonas for 1 night and at Refugio for 2 nights. We saw monkeys, 40+ species of birds, caimans, etc. Our guide, William, was knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. We preferred Posada Amazonas because there was more abundant wildlife and the lodge was a little more relaxed. Refugio was great also but a bit louder and more for groups with children. The food was incredible; I am a vegetarian and felt taken care of at every meal.
Our stay in Cusco was well planned. We went around with Jose who was friendly and knew his way around the city sites and the Sacred Valley. I was really happy to have seen some of the other ruins before Machu Picchu. Kathleen recommended great restaurants and helped us acclimate into Cusco.
We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful trip. You were personal and professional and worked with extraordinary individuals and excellent accommodations to provide us with a carefree and well considered trip.
The five of us had a wonderful time in Peru. We were so impressed with how well organized
everything was for us. Drivers were always prompt and courteous and travel agents so friendly and thorough: We never had to worry about travel details in the least. You chose
excellent guides for us as well. They were knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and were
fun to travel with. Thank you so much!
Cusco was enchanting and the train ride through the valley was gorgeous. I would have to say the highlight for me was the Huayna Picchu hike. The whole week seemed to build toward that amazing experience, and how wonderful to be able to celebrate our achievement with the people of Cusco on New Year’s Eve!
All the hotels were excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any one of them, or your
services, to fellow travelers.
Thanks for taking such good care of us throughout our memorable trip!
We had the most amazing time and for the first time ever I heard my husband say he wasn’t
ready to go home. I loved every bit of our trip. You met our expectations and more. Our private tour was awesome and our guide was the best. You were always
prompt and we never had to worry about anything. The rooms were fantastic. We are use to winging trips and this was the first time I’ve worked with a travel agency – mainly due to the regulations on the Inca Trail – I was very impressed. I want to return to South America and will be in touch for my next trip! Thanks for all your help. I’ve already handed out your name and company to many.
My wife and I had been on assignment in Brazil for 18 months and seen most of the major tourist attractions there. We wanted to see something else in South America before returning to the USA and settled on Peru but didn’t know how best to proceed or who to contact for help and didn’t have much time to devote to a search. I tried a AAA travel agent back home who recommended a well-known international travel company with a canned itinerary that provided no flexibility. I tried a travel agency in Sao Paulo who suggested places outside of my interests. I finally got a suggestion from a friend back home that travels extensively worldwide on business and he suggested your company. I was privileged to be assigned to work with Adrienne M. I went to their website and reviewed everything I could about the company, sites and hotels. I communicated a basic timeline and the locations we were interested in seeing and the level of hotels we desired to Adrienne and let her “do her thing.”
Although we “tweaked” the itinerary many times before making a final decision, what we ended up with far exceeded what we had ever hoped for—true “Raving Fans” service. Although she may have felt inconvenienced by our numerous changes, she seemed to take it all in stride, made everything come out just right and we always felt like we were her only clients.
We were able to take in Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lima. This “once in a lifetime” adventure for us turned out to be “out of sight.” Cusco was as quaint and charming as pictured (would loved to have spent more time there) and our seats to the dinner show were right in front. Visiting Machu Picchu was heavenly and visiting this wonder of the world will always be remembered. Lima was a charming, historical, big city that needed more time to explore to properly appreciate. We took in the Larco Museum and Huaca Pucllana on our own and both were good choices. We made it to Mama Panchita’s for lunch which had great ceviche and found a great little sandwich shop on Parque Kennedy called La Lucha, where a lot of local folks go. The “pick up and drop offs” went off without a hitch. The personal recommendations on what to see and where to eat were “right on; the local tour guides were excellent and really “knew their stuff;” the hotels were as good as or better than expected. Even the 3- star El Mapi Hotel in Aguas Calientes could have been a 4-star as far as we could tell. We traveled on Peru Rail’s Expedition train going to Machu Picchu as well as the Vistadome on the return trip which provided a good perspective. Although the Vistadome was definitely a step up, the Expedition was much nicer than we envisioned and very acceptable. Be sure to book early if you want the Vistadome going both ways.
A few things that Adrienne did that went above and beyond our expectations included the following: 1) an upgrade on our midnight flight from São Paulo to Lima and 2) a personal guide instead of a small-group guide at Machu Picchu. First, since our air travel is always economy class, when we boarded the plane we immediately went to coach to locate our seats and realized that there were no seat numbers in coach matching our tickets. It turned out that somehow she had gotten us seats in 1st class. Wow! What a surprise! On a long international flight to have all of the benefits that come with 1st class was an unexpected enjoyment for both of us. Second, although my wife and I are no “spring chickens,” we had purchased tickets to climb Huayna Picchu in hopes that we could do the hike. Adrienne had immediately preceded us on a visit to Machu Picchu and had climbed the mountain with her father and sent back pictures. The photos looked daunting to say the least. Not previously knowing how difficult that hike might be, we think she took pity on us (assuming that we would probably not complete the hike) and offered us a private guide for Machu Picchu instead of the small-group guide, which we gratefully accepted. Our guide, Fabricio, was a “god send.” He was phenomenal and really brought the site to life based on his personal knowledge and experiences. He spent more than the allotted time with us which was truly appreciated.
Because my wife did not anticipate being able to complete the Huayna Picchu hike, she decided to go as far as she could, then turn around and go back: We made arrangements on when and where to meet up because I was fairly determined to give it my best shot. To everyone’s surprise (especially my wife’s), she started the hike and kept right on going all the way to the top and back, just like the Energizer Bunny. An unbelievable experience that turned out to be the “icing on the cake.” I’m reasonably certain that if we could make the summit that you probably can, too. Buy your tickets early so you don’t miss out. If you change your mind, because the tickets are limited, I’m sure you can find people more than willing to take your place.
The people in Peru were very friendly and the cities were quite clean. Would I go back? Absolutely! There are numerous things I would still like to see in Peru. Would I use this company? Unquestionably! They really are as good as the reviews sound. Was Adrienne as good as described? Without a doubt. Thanks again for making this trip on of the highlights of 2013.
Keith & Linda M. – Tempe, AZ
We had such a great trip!
Machu Picchu was great. I really liked that little hotel at the train station in Aguas Calientes. The restaurant is great and it felt like we were on the movie set of Like Water for Chocolate or the House of Spirits. It was also nice being located next to the train station where you had to get on the train at the crack of dawn! Fabricio, our guide for Machu Picchu, was very knowledgeable, super polite and helpful, as were all our guides. What a treat it was to have a guide to ourselves or even just in a small group like for Cusco.
The next day was pretty wild – climbing Huayna Picchu. I did it though! Not bad for the last day of my 50th year! Thankfully I had the girls with me because they helped me out a lot. I’m not good with heights and coming down was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. But I’m glad I did it, especially with them. It was worth it for the adventure and the photos!
It was nice to be in Puno on Christmas Eve to mill around and see what was going on. We went to the Choza de Oscar and had dinner and watched a fantastic dance show with amazing costumes. And they played me Happy Birthday with Andean pipes –awesome! For dinner we ate guinea pig, which tastes like chicken.
We had a great Christmas day touring Lake Titicaca. There were nice people on our boat and we really liked our guide. It was one of the most fascinating days because we got to meet a family on one of the islands. The guide was really good about answering questions and talking about the little details of life on those islands. It’s like going back in time.
We had a fantastic trip and I won’t hesitate to recommend your services. I already have!
Our trip to Quito and the Galapagos was awesome. We loved our guide in Quito and our experience on the Coral with both crew and passengers was great. The tour at Mitad del Mundo museum was especially interesting. Overall and incredible trip, the program on the boat was rigorous, but we got to see so many things because of it.
Thanks for your help planning our trip!
The trip was great and one that we’ll remember forever. Jerry and I could totally relax thanks to your organization. The itinerary package you provided us with was thorough and informative. We always felt we were in good hands and that representatives were easy to contact. Throughout our travels, we had excellent recommendations from hotel-keepers and from you. Our transit experiences in vans were always comfortable and we felt safe in the hands of all drivers. The guided tours were occasionally private and when there were others, the groups were small, always under 5 people; everyone congenial and interesting, from every part of the world.
The hotels were very clean and convenient. The train station hotel in Ollantaytambo was awesome, with great art, gardens, wonderful atmosphere and a fabulous restaurant with an old blind guy playing haunting music on an Incan harp! The other two hotels, the one outside of Chivay and the Hacienda Concepcion in Puerto Maldonado, were both wonderful and well-run.
All of our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and personable. In particular, Oscar in Lima and Fabricio in the Sacred Valley were most enthusiastic.
Our adventures consisted of great food, entertainment and complete immersion in Peru’s culture, history, and nature. Since this trip had nothing to do with my husband’s work, we were free to just let go and take everything in. Even the time without internet in the jungle and on the boat was refreshing. Being disconnected was actually fun!
From our first contact with you, Rylee, you were responsive to our every need. You really listened to us and always got back to us promptly. We’ve already recommended you to friends and we plan to use your company the next time we travel in South America.
Thanks so much for making this experience happen.
