Muyuna Lodge
Yanayacu River, 3-hour boat ride from Iquitos

The 17-room Muyuna Lodge resides upstream from Iquitos not far from the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Mimicking local design, the thatched-roof buildings at the lodge are constructed on stilts to prevent flooding when the river runs high. Single, double, or matrimonial bungalows are basic, but comfortable, and include private bathroom, hot water, and terrace overlooking the forest or river.

A 4-hour boat ride from Iquitos

Tahuayo Lodge rests along the shores of Tahuayo River far from Iquitos. Its rustic bungalows are clean and comfortable. Mosquito nets hang over each bed. Individual rooms, lounge areas and the dining hall are built on stilts and connected by raised wooden platforms to avoid flooding during high water season. Electricity is provided by solar panels.

Explorama River Lodge
A 80 km (50 mi) boat ride from Iquitos

Explorama Lodge is a longstanding jungle establishment nestled amid primary rainforest downriver from Iquitos. Recently renovated, all 40 lodge rooms now have private bathroom facilities. Covered walkways connect the rooms to the dining room and Tahuampa Bar and the peaceful Hammock House.
