Embark on your journey. We take care of everything from start to finish, so all you have to do is enjoy.

Your journey begins with an overnight stop in Guayaquil, gateway to the Galapagos Islands. Our representative will meet you at the Guayaquil airport and transfer you to your hotel to give a short briefing on what to expect during your Galapagos Cruise.

Meander down the Malecon 2000, a boardwalk overlooking the Guayas River or explore the cafes, art galleries, and vibrant nightlife of this tropical Ecuadorian city.

Today you’ll leave Guayaquil and fly to Baltra airport where your guide will be waiting to usher you to your all-inclusive cruise ship. Enjoy lunch as you set sail on your first adventure - a dinghy boat ride to a tranquil lagoon. Bordered by mangroves, you’ll witness pelicans, herons, and egrets feed. While in the calm waters, you’ll see turtles swimming among white-tipped reef sharks. Return to the ship for a relaxing evening at sea.

Note: Our trips are fully customizable, but Galapagos Cruise departure dates are set. This itinerary gives you an idea of your activities by day. Your exact cruise itinerary may vary depending on your travel dates.

Explore the unique landscapes of Sullivan Bay as you admire the Pahoehoe lava flows formed in the late 18th century. You’ll have time to snorkel and swim in the ocean or rest on coral sand beaches.

After returning to your cruise and enjoying a mouthwatering lunch, you’ll have the chance to explore Rabida Island. A small island characterized by its dark red sand and volcanic craters. A dinghy ride will bring you closer to observe nesting seabirds and then you’ll have time for snorkelling off the coast amid the thriving marine life.

Note: Sullivan Bay requires a wet landing so it is recommended to bring waterproof or fast drying shoes with a good tread on this excursion.

Start your day by exploring the volcanic black sand beaches of Urbina Bay as you discover the uplifted coral reef where giant tortoises, land iguanas, and cormorants roam. Submerse yourself into the refreshing ocean waters as you snorkel with sea turtles, sea lions, and tropical fish.

After enjoying lunch and some free time, walk to the saltwater crater lake of Tagus Cove and take in the views of Isabel’s picturesque volcanoes. A dinghy ride in the afternoon will bring you to see colonies of blue-footed boobies and Galapagos penguins.

Note: Urbina Bay requires a wet landing so it is recommended to bring waterproof or fast drying shoes with a good tread on this excursion.

Cross the richly biodiverse Bolivar Channel and land on the rocky shore of Fernandina, the youngest island in the Galapagos. Here you’ll mingle amongst marine iguanas and vibrant sally lightfoot crabs on the lava terrain. Punta Espinosa is one of the best spots to snorkel with Galapagos penguins, sea turtles, and feeding marine iguanas.

After resting, take a dinghy ride to Punta Vicente Roca and observe a spectacular variety of sea and coastal birds. Enjoy deep-water snorkeling in one of the richest marine havens on Earth before relishing a gourmet dinner aboard your cruise.

Disembark in Puerto Ayora for a scenic drive into the Santa Cruz highlands. You’ll have time to walk through the lush green hills to see the giant tortoises that give the Galapagos their name.

Your drive will continue to the Baltra airport as you travel by plane onwards to Lima. Upon arrival at the Lima airport, you will be greeted by our Inca Expert Travel representative. After a transfer to your confirmed Lima hotel and assistance with the check in, you’ll be provided with everything needed in preparation for your upcoming Peru journey.

Start your morning with a gourmet breakfast at your luxury hotel, before visiting the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Start your afternoon with a walking tour around the artsy Barranco district. Learn about its history as you gaze at colonial mansions, taste Peruvian flavors, and immerse yourself in its sounds and smells.

Finally, enjoy an epic 11-course tasting menu at Central, one of the top 10 restaurants in the world.

In the morning you’ll fly from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, you’ll be met by an Inca Expert Travel representative who will go through your travel program and give you all your needed tickets.

Today, you’ll go on a walking tour through the top sites in the city of Cusco. You’ll visit the Cusco Cathedral and the most important temple of the Inca Empire: Coricancha.

Indulge in the flavors and sites of the bustling San Pedro Market where your guide will point out the locally-grown fruits and vegetables, some new and some familiar. Next, head into the San Blas neighborhood to watch artisans at work and purchase some unique Peruvian souvenirs.

After you’ve had your fill of shopping, your journey continues high above Cusco where the Inca ruins of Q’enqo and Sacasyhuamán watch over the city. Explore these enigmatic sites with your private guide who will point out important details and little known facts about these fascinating sites. You’ll be dropped off at your Luxury Cusco Hotel of choice after your tour for a free evening to relax and rest.

Your Inca Expert Travel Advisor will be glad to share personalized restaurant recommendations and tips for how to spend your free time.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your private tour guide will meet you and your driver will take you through the cobblestone streets of Cusco and into the scenic Sacred Valley. Watch the landscapes roll by as they turn from nearby lush fields to distant snow-capped mountains.

After spectacular views of the Andes Mountains, you’ll stop at 3 highly impressive Inca ruins starting with the incredible Pisac ruins and famous Pisac Market. You’ll learn about the Sacred Valley and its history and importance to the Incas before making your final stop of the day at Ollantaytambo. At Pisac you also have the opportunity to purchase artisanal goods straight from the artisans as well!

Visit the last Incan stronghold, Ollantaytambo fortress, where you’ll see some of the most impressive functioning series of aqueducts and fountains out of all the Incan ruins in Peru. Afterwards, your guide will drop you off at your luxury hotel for a free afternoon of resting.

After a delicious Peruvian breakfast at your hotel you’ll meet your private tour guide and travel to the spectacular Maras Salt Mines. These ancient pools on terraced mountainsides collect natural saltwater that crystallizes and can be harvested. Take in the spectacular views and purchase some of this natural salt at a local market by the site.

Afterwards you’ll be transported to Moray and learn about its history and take in the views before heading over to MIL restaurant. Winner of the world’s top chef award Virgilio Martinez created this restaurant to explore Andean ingredients and bring you a delicious culinary experience with incomparable views: the Incan ruin of Moray.

Enjoy your 8-course lunch at MIL included in your tour package.

After a private transfer back to the town of Ollantaytambo, you’ll board a train that will take you directly to Aguas Calientes where you’ll spend one last night before viewing the spectacular ruins of Machu Picchu.

An early morning will reward you with a momentous day of exploring the “Lost City of the Incas”. Your private tour guide will take you through the iconic ruins of Machu Picchu, discussing the mystery and skill of its construction as you absorb the magical landscape that surrounds this important ruin.

Return to Aguas Calientes and relax before your journey back to Cusco. Take in the final views of the Sacred Valley while you travel back. Your driver will be waiting at the station to take you back to your hotel for some much-deserved rest at your luxury hotel.

Upgrade options: Climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain for bird’s-eye views of the ruins or add an extra day in Machu Picchu.

Enjoy a final breakfast at your Cusco hotel. Our Inca Expert representative will meet you in time to transfer you to the airport to begin your journey back home.
